Online Therapy with a Neurodivergent and Trans Therapist in the UK
Starting Therapy: What to Expect
Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you're unsure what to expect. My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space for you. Whether you're exploring your gender identity, managing anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply seeking personal growth, therapy with me is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration.
I work with people who may be experiencing any of the following:
Neurodivergent clients struggling to navigate a world designed for neurotypical expectations.
Trans and gender-diverse individuals exploring their gender identity or who have recently come out and are seeking support.
In our sessions, I will meet you where you are. Together, we will build insight into your experiences, explore what matters most to you, and identify ways to move forward in a way that honours who you are. I bring clinical expertise paired with a down-to-earth, relational style, ensuring our sessions are genuine, respectful, and supportive.
If you're looking for affirming therapy that honours your unique experience and helps you build the life you want, you're in the right place.
Who I Work With: Trans, Gender-Diverse, and Neurodivergent Clients
As a neurodivergent trans therapist, I offer online therapy to trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse people aged 13+ across the UK. I also work with neurodivergent individuals who may not identify as trans but would benefit from working with a neurodivergent and/or marginalised therapist.
I understand the intersectionality of identities and offer a space where you can be fully yourself, without judgment or assumptions. My approach is deeply grounded in LGBTQIA+ affirming practice, trauma-informed care, and neurodivergent-affirming therapy.
About Me: My Background & Approach
I'm proud to have extensive experience working in LGBTQIA+ spaces - both as a therapist and as an activist. In 2011, I co-founded Proud2Be, a community-led LGBTQIA+ organisation, with my twin sibling, Max. Since then, we've supported hundreds of LGBTQIA+ individuals each year, addressing issues ranging from community building to systemic challenges like austerity, the pandemic, and social injustice.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Devon Counselling College (2019) and have completed ongoing professional development in areas such as safeguarding, mental health, sexual health, anti-racist practice, and LGBTQIA+ awareness. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you - it’s about finding the space to be your authentic self, however that looks today.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I follow their ethical framework to ensure that our work together is always safe, respectful, and accountable.
Availability & Working Together
I’m currently welcoming new clients for both weekly and fortnightly sessions. To make sure I can give my full attention and care to everyone I work with, I keep my client load intentionally small and balanced.
I offer sessions Monday through Friday during the day and early evening. My early evening slots tend to fill up quickly, so if that’s your preference, feel free to reach out sooner rather than later. When you reach out, we’ll find a time that fits well for both of us and talk a little about what you’re hoping to get from therapy. This helps make sure we’re a good match and that I can support you in the best way possible.
Next Steps: How to Get Started
I offer a free 30-minute initial Zoom chat to help you determine if we’re a good fit for each other. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the therapy process.
Standard rate: £60 per 1-hour session.
I also have two reduced-rate slots available at any given time (£50 per session). If those are full, I can add you to a waitlist for future availability.
If you're ready to commit, I offer a discount for clients who book a package of 10 sessions.
